Overview

The Márcia Prass brand is my personal identity, designed to offer visual identity design services and brand strategy development.

My personal brand aims to be perceived as light, professional, and creative, with a strong focus on delivering results.

Challenge

The biggest challenge of this visual identity was establishing application guidelines for the different logo versions. It required extensive research to define standards and rules, ensuring that the logo layout itself would have its own identity and become one of the brand’s strongest visual assets.

Brand

The final result of the visual identity successfully achieved the goals initially set, delivering a light, professional, and creative representation that thinks outside the box. To reach the desired outcome, I drew inspiration from Japanese design, which is inherently minimalist but highly values craftsmanship, attention to detail, and embedding meaning in everything it creates. At the same time, the stylized “M” monogram was inspired by calligraphic fonts, resembling strokes made with a dip pen.

Colors

The color palette of the visual identity is primarily purple—a color associated with creativity and magic. To complement it, and almost as a surprise element, the accent color Cherry Tomato was added, breaking the monotony of a monochromatic palette. To support these colors, we use Baby Powder, a very soft shade that evokes a handmade, organic feel and distances the brand from the starkness of pure white, which can often feel artificial.

Texture

The texture was created from the composition of the “M” monogram, bringing to the identity a deconstructed, out-of-the-box aesthetic. This pattern can be applied in different ways and in various color combinations from the brand palette.
