Overview
These are some digital illustrations I’ve created over the years, inspired by the world around me. They are works I made to practice certain techniques or to experiment with different layouts, serving as personal challenges to reach a result that feels satisfying to me. These illustrations also stand out for their color composition experiments, which generally follow a harmonious color scheme.

Creative Process
My creative process starts with a rough sketch, a draft, or a reference image, which serves as the foundation for me to visualize the endless possibilities of a given illustration. In some cases, I begin by drawing with pencil on paper, and when I see potential in the sketch to be developed digitally, I make that transition, choose the colors and brushes. At the end, I apply the finishing touches that I believe work best for each case.

There are also other works that don’t require illustrative skills, but rather compositional ones. These are projects that begin with the construction of a grid that will be followed through to the final piece. In these cases, I’m usually inspired by works created by renowned designers and illustrators.

References
My main sources of inspiration are design and illustration books that provide visually rich and inspiring content, whether through color, form, or composition. The world around me also inspires me—like when I come across an interesting color palette that could be applied to an illustration. I try to draw inspiration from those who are considered experts in the field, which is why I invest heavily in books aimed at designers. These books offer a curated selection of what’s worth noticing and studying. Books on art, design history, creative processes, and aesthetic styles are my favorites.
